How to pass the time during your stay at the Golden Moon Rooms & Taverna in Tolo. There is such a great choice of things to do in Tolo and the surrounding areas that the list would be endless. We have tried to give you some ideas for activities available in Tolo and in the immediate areas close by.

Holidays at the Golden Moon in Tolo are characterised as beach holidays with its great situation actually on the waves. Try your hand at one of the many water sports available in Tolo, windsurfing, waterskiing, sailing, ringo & banana rides or why nor rent a motor boat for a day or a few hours to see the other local beaches of Plaka, Vivari, Candia & Iria or take trip to one of the islands in the bay, Romvi, Daskalio or Koronis and try some snorkelliing.

Visit the archaeological sites of Mycenae, the Ancient Theatre of Epidavros, the ancient site of Olympia, all of which are famous worldwide plus some of the smaller local sites of Ancient Tiryns, Lerna, Midea, Iraio and the pyramid at Ellinikon.

Daily cruises run from the harbour of Tolo to the islands of Hydra, Spetses and Poros.

Visit the old city of Nafplion, one of the many museums and wander through the narrow streets with their overhanging balconies, shop in the small unique gift shops of Nafplio or stop and enjoy a coffee in one of the many cafeterias lining the streets.

For something different why not invest a couple of hours in some traditional Greek cookery lessons or visit the local Karonis Ouzo Museum and partake of an ouzo and liqueur tasting whilst seeing how they are made.

Behind the village of Tolo, up on the mountain walkers and nature enthusiasts enjoy the beauty of the place.

Kite surfing enthusiasts can visit the beach of Nea Kios close to Nafplion, and those interested in rock climbing are able to do this particular sport in th local fishing village of Vivari by prior arrangement.
