Hands On Activities at the Golden Moon

Cookery Lessons - Traditional Greek & Mediterranean Cuisine
As of 2015, the cook at the Golden Moon Taverna in Tolo, Mrs Yiota, has been offering cooking lessons in the tavernas kitchens to interested guests and other parties with great success.

Small groups of 5 - 20 persons (or even smaller) take part in the preparation and cooking of dishes that they have chosen and price range from 12€ to 15€ per person, per session.

The prepared dishes are then enjoyed for either lunch or dinner! Take some time out of your day to learn how to cook Greek Traditional dishes by an expert..

Autumn & Winter Activities

For a completely different aspect of Greece why not visit us in the Winter (November to March) and really have a hands on experience with us. Collect olives with us for example and follow the process all the way through visiting the olive press and seeing how olive oil gets to its final state from the fruit picking stage. Pick oranges/mandarins, visit some local businesses and see how different traditional local foods are made (for example local cheeses).

We organise special visits to Tolo for small agrotourism groups from 10 - 25 persons and families which include room, breakfast & dinner at great prices.

Why not see some of Greece's wonderful nature at a time when the weather is pleasant but not too hot and visit some places not normally visited - the tradational Greece!
